HVAC Design & Installation in Beverly Hills.

Designing heating and cooling for a Beverly Hills residence means respecting the architecture. A 1920s Spanish estate in The Flats, a mid-century home in Trousdale Estates and a new residence north of Sunset each present different constraints, from plaster ceilings and limited attic space to walls of glass and open plans. We engineer systems that disappear into the home and run so quietly they are rarely noticed.

Engineering Before Equipment

Each project begins with a room-by-room Manual J load calculation, Manual S equipment selection and Manual D duct design. In older estates, that work often reveals why certain rooms have never been comfortable: undersized ducts, returns that cannot breathe or a single system serving spaces with very different needs.

With accurate numbers, equipment can be right-sized and variable-speed, running long and gently for even temperatures, quiet operation and good humidity control.

Concealed Design and Quiet Zoning

We plan air delivery with the architect and interior designer: slim linear diffusers aligned with ceiling details, returns concealed in millwork and air handlers placed in serviceable spaces away from bedrooms. In historic homes, we find routes that preserve original plaster and moldings wherever possible.

Zoning lets primary suites, living rooms, guest wings and media rooms each hold their own temperature. Hand-built sheet-metal ducts, sized for low velocity, keep air movement silent.

All Major Brands, One Standard

We design and install across all major brands, including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Lennox, Trane and Carrier. Some estates are best served by ducted variable-speed systems, others by a variable refrigerant system that gives many rooms independent control with compact indoor units. The choice follows the home, never a single manufacturer.

Hillside properties in Benedict and Coldwater Canyons and the Beverly Hills Post Office area get careful attention to outdoor equipment placement, sound and screening. Every project is commissioned and documented.

Questions

HVAC Design & Installation Questions in Beverly Hills

Can central air be added to a historic home without dropping ceilings?

Often, yes. Using careful routing through attics, closets and chases, along with compact air handlers, we can add or upgrade systems while preserving original ceilings and plaster in the principal rooms.

How do you keep equipment quiet near bedrooms?

Through right-sized variable-speed equipment, low-velocity duct design, vibration isolation and thoughtful placement of air handlers and outdoor units.

Is VRF/VRV the best option for a large estate?

It is one strong option among several. We compare it with ducted alternatives during design and recommend whichever best suits the architecture and how the home is used.

When should we involve you in a renovation?

As early as possible, ideally during schematic design, so duct routes and equipment spaces can be planned with the architecture rather than added later.
